How it all began
8am (formerly AffiniPay) began with a simple idea: getting paid shouldn’t get in the way of doing what you love.
In 2005, we saw a gap. Professionals excelled in their craft, but when it came to collecting payments they faced cumbersome processes and outdated systems that slowed them down. The available payment systems weren’t built for their compliance needs—or their clients’ expectations. We saw the cost in lost time and trust. So we built something better.
