8am Capital

Fast financing for law firms

Delayed client payments. Advanced client expenses. Uneven revenue. Law firms operate with inherently variable cash flow profiles that traditional lenders often struggle to evaluate.

8am Capital is built for that reality. Embedded directly within LawPay, it uses your firm’s payment history to help determine eligibility, making it easier to access funds with fast credit decisions, flexible repayment options, and no piles of paperwork.

Built for your business

The case is yours. The cash flow shouldn’t be the bottleneck.

Offers without the usual friction

Eligibility is determined by your LawPay payment history, so you can review pre-qualified offers without a hard credit check.

Funding without the wait

If approved, access funding in as little as 1–2 business days so your firm can move when the work requires it.

Simple, transparent terms

Know what repayment looks like before accepting an offer. No origination fees. No prepayment penalties.

Repayment tied to revenue

Repayment is tied to a percentage of daily LawPay payment volume rather than fixed monthly installments. **

Built into the system you already use

Apply, review terms, and manage funding directly inside LawPay.

IOLTA compliant by design

Repayments are debited from your operating account, never your trust account, helping firms stay aligned with how client funds must be handled.

Who qualifies for a law firm business loan through 8am Capital?

You may already be closer than you think

If your firm has processed payments through LawPay for at least 90 days, you may already be eligible for pre-qualification.

Typical qualification requirements:

  • Active LawPay account with at least 3 months of payment history

  • U.S.-based law firm with annual business revenue of $30,000+

  • Valid Social Security number and U.S. business address for the business owner

  • Personal credit score of 600+

  • No upfront credit check required to view pre-qualification options

How it works

From pre-qualified to funded in days, not weeks

1. We review eligibility

8am periodically reviews your LawPay payment activity to determine whether your firm may qualify.

2. Your offer appears in LawPay

No separate portal. No disconnected lending process. If your firm qualifies, your pre-qualified offer appears directly in LawPay, so you can review the terms and decide whether funding makes sense for your firm.

3. Choose your draw

Select the amount you want up to your approved maximum. Loan terms are clearly defined upfront with no origination fees or prepayment penalties.

4. Get funded

Funds are deposited into your operating account by ACH, typically within two business days. Repayment is automatically drawn from that same account based on a percentage of daily revenue processed through LawPay.**
